ROAD TRIP!

Team BlackSheep has spent 2 weeks of early December 2011 touring through the West Coast of the United States. Over the coming weeks we'll treat you to a series of breathtaking videos.
Local Utah Desert Views
During our stay in the US we followed the progress of many local FPVers flying in the areas we passed through. One notable mention was Todd Sheridan from Utah, who has a similar rig and shoots very similar videos. Check him out.
Presentation at RC-talk
Team BlackSheep was invited to participate in a talk about FPV, the legalities and future challenges in Switzerland. Together with Martin W. from flyinghigh and Peter K. from BAZL, they informed a broad audience of R/C enthusiasts about UAVs, FPV and copters.
Here is the presentation as PDF, and you can also read a short summary of the presentations and first impressions from Herrmann M.
Reduced prices ... for ever!
Higher production quantities from our vendors and better exchange rates have made it possible for us to decrease the prices on half a dozen products.
Can you find out which ones?
We are not alone!
Our good friends are having a blast with FPV too. With the year 2011 ending, even guys who don't post as frequently as we do went ahead and made a "best of 2011" compilation. Here's our favorite this far:
An inspiring story
brosius85, one of our friends from down under, has just posted a short story of how he got into R/C. He documented the trials and tribulations he went through in some rather entertaining videos. There are many lessons to be learned besides the laughs of seeing a person fly a R/C plane for the first time.
To those looking to get into FPV, this should be an inspiring story. Well done
New Year Special
Rensen's 3D plane has been sitting in his shed for quite some time. He built two just in case, and one is now looking for a new owner. The CG is spot on, you can fly it with one or two 3300mAh 4S (2nd battery mounts right at the CG) for ultra floatyness or high speed and long range. It's built by a true professional and ready to fly, just pop in your receiver (or get one from Rensen) and you're good to go. Same price as our TBS Zephyr kits, too.
